A simple, but oh, so effective (and important) way to support the Church forever

Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana.

When many people think of building permanent endowments, they often think of large, planned gifts. But providing everlasting support for the Catholic causes that mean the most to you can be as simple as creating a recurring online donation or mailing in a twenty-dollar bill every month—whatever works for you. Don’t just take our word for it! Here are reasons that some of our donors give monthly to their favorite endowments at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana.

Scott and Clare Held

“We give monthly because we want to provide for, be a part of, and build a legacy for the organizations and ministries we are passionate about.”
— Scott and Clare Held (pictured), parishioners at the Cathedral of Saint Helena

“I like to give monthly because I think that consistently giving a little can go a long way. The Foundation and endowments are about growth, not just sudden growth, but steady growth, so that our churches and institutions have solid and lasting financial support.”
— Father John Pankratz, Parochial Vicar, St. Patrick Co-Cathedral in Billings
Frank and Laura Barille

“It’s important to give, so the Church can reach as many people as we can. We have what people need and we need to get the word out there.
Our priests need our support, and church buildings throughout the Diocese need maintenance and other improvements. Catholics need the Foundation: it’s the structure that supports us. We need it to keep the Church going far into the future, so that the good things we have are still here for our grandchildren, and for theirs.”
— Frank and Laura Barille (pictured), parishioners at Corpus Christi Parish in Great Falls

“I just can’t think of anywhere better to put what He gives us than back in God’s hands than in endowments. Churches constantly need help, one way or the other, whether it’s getting new priests or keeping the building in order. If I can help St. Leo’s and the Church this way then I’m perfectly content to.
I give monthly because it’s so easy. I don’t go online much, so instead I just call the staff, give them my information, tell them how much I want to do and how often, and they set it up for me. They send me a statement every year with a record of everything. This way I just donate automatically, and I don’t have to worry about it.”
— Virginia Woodburn from St. Leo the Great Parish, in Lewistown

Bishop Jeffrey Fleming,

“St. Mark’s Parish in Belt is my home parish. It was here that I received the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
My family was very involved at St. Mark’s. My dad was a catechesis instructor, and my mom and I served in music ministry. My sisters are still parishioners.
I have chosen to give monthly to the St. Mark Greatest Needs Endowment through the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana in memory of my parents and in thanksgiving for the community of St. Mark’s. By building St. Mark’s endowment at the Foundation, my gifts will continue to give back to my home parish in a sustained way over the coming years.”
