Putting Donors First

While one might think fundraising is the lifeblood of our organization, your TRUST is our primary goal. The Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana knows that when you give, you are doing so in good faith (no pun intended).

While giving is a fundamentally spiritual act, and a response to the invitation of grace, the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana makes it our priority to provide the utmost respect to our donors:

Our Commitment To Our Donors

Following Best Practices

When investing your endowment gifts, Catholic socially-responsible investing practices are followed, as outlined by the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB). We adhere to a Professional Investment Policy to monitor the wise investment of your charitable gifts – to achieve their greatest impact for the Church.

Keeping Expenses Low

The only fee assessed by the Foundation is 1.75% on the balance of endowments. This administrative fee supports our operations and ability to serve donors, fund beneficiaries, and our diocese. As the value of our endowments grow, we expect this fee to decrease.

Ensuring Transparency

Know that we follow all accounting principles and practices required of a nonprofit organization worthy of and relying on public trust. Proper stewardship and transparency are very important to us. You can review our annual, audited financials below.

Honoring Your Wishes

When you designate which endowment you want your gift to benefit on behalf of the Church in our diocese, your wishes will be honored. That is our firm commitment to you.

We Welcome Your Questions

Your questions about the Foundation and requests for information will always be answered honestly and promptly. Please do not hesitate to email, call, write or stop by the Foundation to meet with our friendly staff. We honor and respect the rights and responsibilities of our donors and understand making a gift to a permanently-restricted endowment, especially through a planned gift, is a matter of great value to you.

Ultimately, charitable support of the Catholic Church is about hope and trust in God’s providence. The Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana exists for the people of the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings. As such, you should think of us as part of your team, helping you achieve what you desire for the Catholic Church and yourself through your charitable support.
