The annual distribution from this endowment helps purchase food for the needy in Great Falls. Every year, the funds are used by St. Ann’s Kitchen to feed the poor!

GOAL
The children of John Sharone created this endowment to benefit St. Ann’s Kitchen in Great Falls and continue their father’s legacy of generosity and concern for those who are hungry and in need. While serving in the Navy, John witnessed much hunger in other countries and became very interested in helping the poor, especially in his own community. He had a great desire to help the hungry.

Planned Giving
Your support of permanent endowments at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana can qualify you for unique tax and/or lifetime income benefits (especially the hefty 40% Montana Endowment Tax Credit) through what we call “planned gifts.”
Establish a Named (Legacy) Endowment
Donors may create a Named (Legacy) Endowment benefiting the Catholic parish, school, or ministry of their choice. All that’s required to start is a gift of $20,000 or more (or a pledge of $20,000 or more, given within five years of creating the endowment).
