This endowment’s distribution is used as determined by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, which is made up of clergy and laypersons throughout our diocese with a passion for building a strong future for the Catholic Church. In recent years, these funds have been used to support the Foundation’s grant program.

The Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana has been helping Catholics support the work of Christ throughout the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings since 1999. We exist to help families and individuals pass along their Catholic heritage and values for future generations.

Monthly Giving
Monthly giving is a powerful way to provide sustainable, long-term support that your beloved Catholic parish, school, or ministry can count on. As little as $20 per month (67 cents a day) can make a difference for people throughout the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings forever.

Planned Giving
Your support of permanent endowments at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana can qualify you for unique tax and/or lifetime income benefits (especially the hefty 40% Montana Endowment Tax Credit) through what we call “planned gifts.”
Establish a Named (Legacy) Endowment
Donors may create a Named (Legacy) Endowment benefiting the Catholic parish, school, or ministry of their choice. All that’s required to start is a gift of $20,000 or more (or a pledge of $20,000 or more, given within five years of creating the endowment).
