– St. Ann Cathedral Parish, Great Falls

Tom MathewsTom is a 4th generation Montana native! He is from Helena, and is employed as the President of the Great Falls Branch of Opportunity Bank. Tom graduated from the University of Montana in 1979 with a degree in Finance and Management and an MBA in 1984. He has been involved with various boards and as a volunteer coach and referee in the Great Falls community. In 2010, Tom was honored with the “Distinguished Community Service Award” from the University of Montana. Why does Tom donate his time and expertise in service to the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana as a board member? In his words, “I feel I have been so blessed but yet I have returned so little back…this is just an opportunity to at least pay back a little of the blessings that I have received.” Tom noted that his immediate hope is “to continually help the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana develop as a great asset to the Diocese and individual parishes, while also providing a conduit for parishioners to invest in their parishes and their Catholic faith.”
