Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is married to Jenna Murphy, and is father to Mary, Michael, Bridget, and Shannon.  He is an active parishioner at Saint Patrick’s Co-Cathedral in Billings.

Brian currently serves as Deputy General Counsel for First Interstate Bank.  He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from the University of Montana, where he graduated with honors and was the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.  Before joining First Interstate, Brian worked in private practice as a litigator and advisor on regulatory matters.

Brian has been fortunate to have many interesting life experiences including: leading troubled youth in wilderness therapy programs, leading trail crews in Yellowstone Park’s backcountry, walking the Camino de Santiago twice, and many hours practicing and playing violin and other instruments.
