The annual distribution from the William A. and Martha V. Hampson Memorial Endowment helps meet the greatest, most pressing needs of St. Mary Church and/or St. Mary School in Livingston.

Gregory “Greg” Hampson established this endowment in 2020 to honor the lives and memories of his parents,William “Bill” and Martha Hampson. Although they lived far out of town with their three children, the Hampsons made it a priority to drive them to Livingston every day to attend St. Mary’s Catholic School, often arriving early enough before school that the kids could attend daily morning Mass. Bill and Martha were very active throughout their lives at both the church and the school, setting an excellent model of Catholic Christian service for their children. Bill passed in 2007 and Martha in 2020. This endowment in their name will continue their legacy of love for St. Mary’s Church and School.

Planned Giving
Your support of permanent endowments at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana can qualify you for unique tax and/or lifetime income benefits (especially the hefty 40% Montana Endowment Tax Credit) through what we call “planned gifts.”
Establish a Named (Legacy) Endowment
Donors may create a Named (Legacy) Endowment benefiting the Catholic parish, school, or ministry of their choice. All that’s required to start is a gift of $20,000 or more (or a pledge of $20,000 or more, given within five years of creating the endowment).
