Amanda Price

What I do: I assist the Foundation with administration and, as I learn the ropes, will be taking on more financial tasks.

What I did previously: For the past six years, I’ve worked as a parish and school bookkeeper and business manager—first at Sacred Heart in Miles City, then at Our Lady of Lourdes here in Great Falls. I earned my bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the College of St. Benedict (in conjunction with St. John’s University) in St. Joseph, Minnesota.

Favorite place in Montana: Anywhere in the far eastern reaches of Montana, where I’m from. The prairies are the reason they call it the “Big Sky”!

Another profession: There isn’t anything else I want to do! I am sure this is what God wants for me.

About faith and work: Ever since graduating from high school, my faith has become more and more intertwined with my daily life. I’ve grown as a whole person. I think that working for the Catholic Church and getting to attend daily Mass is a huge part of that—it is a blessing.

My favorite part of my job: Numbers, numbers, and more numbers! I have always been good with numbers and telling a story with them.

Fun personal fact: I throw pottery as a hobby and love to create useful, beautiful things for people I love.
